Ali is Chief Operating Officer of a Vermont based blockchain startup that serves the regulatory licensing and seed-to-sale tracking landscape around legal hemp. Ali has 10 years experience building startups in highly regulated industries as founder CEO, CPO, Advisor and Investor. He began his career in the industrial agriculture sector with a private equity group and subsequently spent 10 years leading various licensing, compliance and regulatory agencies in DC and Vermont. Ali left public service to become Chief Product Officer of a govtech startup and later went on to build solutions in the highly regulated pharma-tech and education compliance spaces. Ali has a JD from the University of Virginia, and an MBA from Duke University.
