Casco Bay Butter Company
Alicia Menard has a background in counseling and higher education. Prior to co-founding Casco Bay Butter with her partner Jennell Carter, Alicia worked in student affairs and admission at a local university. Alicia and Jennell had been exploring ways to start their own business and get involved in the local food movement. Six years ago, they discovered a knack for butter making by experimenting with a stand mixer in their kitchen and raiding the spice cabinet to create unique flavor combinations. That knack has become a passion as they have grown Casco Bay Butter from a church kitchen to where it is today. Alicia is excited to see what lies ahead for Casco Bay Butter. She proudly resides in Portland with Jennell and their dog Dutch.
