Stefanie Trice Gill
Stefanie is the founder and owner of IntWork, a recruitment company that matches Maine employers with foreign-trained Engineers and other highly-trained STEM professionals.
IntWork evolved out of explorations with immigrant leaders and Leadership Maine participants on how to address immigrant integration in the context of the “workforce gap” we face in Maine. These discussions resulted in the founding in 2012 of the Maine Association for New Americans (MANA), an organization focused on advancing the social and professional integration of immigrants into the Maine economy. As a co-founder and board member of MANA, Stefanie started providing pro-bono job placement to foreign-trained STEM employees. In 2016, a cohort of immigrant women and others at Women’s Startup Maine collaborated with Stefanie to create IntWork business model and initial branding.
Since then, Stefanie has embarked on a search of the most talented STEM professionals seeking work in Maine and, as of 2018, offers permanent placement of STEM / Engineering talent to employers across Maine.
