The Scrappy, People-Centered Startup

When you are a startup or small business (or even a large organization), things can move very fast, and despite our best intentions, we can lose our connection with the people we are trying to design for: our customers and even our employees. In this workshop, you’ll learn scrappy techniques to learn, foster understanding, and test ideas in a more people-centric way.

 

Specifically, we’ll explore:

  • Scrappy ways to gather insights into user pain points, needs and opportunities

  • The power of visual tools like sketches, journey maps and storyboards to build shared understanding and strategy

  • Simple ways to develop and test minimum viable prototypes, for everything from physical products to services
