SUM 2019 Kick Off Keynotes Announced!

What role government plays in driving and supporting innovation?

How do you craft innovation into policy?

How can startups and local and state governments work together?

How can digital services be used to improve government services?

Jennifer Pahlka, Founder and Executive Director of Code for America and Hannah Pingree, Director, Maine’s Office of Innovation and the Future, will start with these key questions during their fire-side chat style keynote at Startup Maine, June 19, at Aura.

They will discuss the work Code for America is doing around the US, and how Code for America Brigades is partnering with local governments, including Maine’s very own Brigade, Open Maine.

The kick off keynote to the 2019 Startup Maine conference will occur in collaboration with the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Kegs & Issues event at Aura in Portland, ME.
